Cajon Drums
Cajon Drums
Originating from Peru, the Cajón is a box-shaped percussion instrument, played by slapping the front or rear faces with the hands or fingers. On occasions brushes, mallets, or sticks can be used to play this drum too. Cajones are most commonly heard in Afro-Peruvian music, but flamenco and other South American styles often include this distinctive sound.
